Following extensive testing and customer evaluation, Contemplate launches ThreadSafe, an advanced software analysis product that identifies the thorniest defects and problems in concurrent applications, which are used in most large-scale business environments.

During testing of ThreadSafe in major investment banks, Contemplate identified harmful defects in every application that it investigated. Any organisation using ThreadSafe can introduce new software or upgrades with greater confidence that it works effectively. ThreadSafe also provides metrics on concurrency, visualisations of code and data flow, and can identify the insidious software errors which threaten application accuracy, availability, security and performance.

Contemplate is delighted to announce that its co-founder Don Sannella is one of three entrepreneurs in Scotland who has been selected, in the face of stiff competition from some of the best young companies in the country, to attend the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) at MIT’s Sloan School of Management in January 2012.

EDP is a globally renowned intensive one-week business executive education course which covers the entire venture creation process, from idea generation to building viable global businesses. Using MIT’s entrepreneurial culture as a model, 120 participants from around 30 countries learn what they need to know in order to develop ideas into successful high-tech businesses. Don Sannella comments, “It is gratifying to have Contemplate’s progress recognised in this way and this demonstrates the progress we have made in developing our innovative product suite and gaining traction in the market”.
